Philadelphia noise rockers My Wife’s An Angel have never been one for succinct explanations. Rest assured we tried with “Lil’ Bug”—and here’s what we got from the band’s frontman, G:
“It’s about having to work more for something that’s worth less, while everything becomes more expensive and the finger is being pointed at the weakest people in the room. Come see us on tour. Who knows if we’ll ever be able to make it across the U.S. again or how long it will take or what it’ll look like. We plan to open multiple cans of whoop-ass every stop along the way. You’re not crazy. … This isn’t normal. … Don’t kill yourself.”
Though somewhat confused, we’re proud to premiere My Wife’s An Angel’s “Lil’ Bug.” The band’s new LP, Keep Honking I’m About To Fucking Kill Myself, is out April 24 via Knife Kills, GRIMGRIMGRIM and Broken Cycle.
