Sun Airway is known for its vast-sounding, psychedelic electronica. Single “Wild Palms” (Dead Oceans) uses an assortment of interesting sounds such as violin samples, fluttering synths and drum-machine beats. For the song’s video, the duo sought out help from Ricardo Rivera of Klip Collective, who helps transform its lush, reverbed sound into something equally as beautiful. “Wild Palms” was filmed at the First Unitarian Church, a historic live venue in MAGNET’s hometown of Philadelphia, and features slowed-down, fading shots of Jon Bathmus tranquilly singing along the rows and rows of pews.
