Jason Collett started recording Reckon (Arts & Crafts) the same month the Occupy Wall Street movement first took up camp in Zuccotti Park, and the influence is obvious on the LP’s first single, “I Wanna Rob A Bank.” The obvious message of populist discontent makes the song rather endearing as opposed to crossing the line to into painfully obnoxious, which it walks so close to. “I wanna know where did the money go?” sings Collett on this 21st-century protest song.
