Last month, I began an initiative to get sets of four free Mecca Normal CDs into the hands of university students to demystify how cultural activism works; at least in our case. With so many songs about social injustices, I was surprised when one professor who took me up on the offer asked me to record an mp3 about the free CD project itself for his punk-rock radio show in Texas.
