Funny story circa the Dovetail era, somewhere in France. It was the morning after a show, and we were packing up the car in a very old part of a city, perhaps Bordeaux. There was a guy walking down the other side of the street carrying an upside down chair on his head. I don’t actually speak French, but without thinking too much about it, I called out, “Un beau chapeau!”
