Psychedelic indie group Atlantic/Pacific will resonate with all passionate romantics in-between. The Brooklyn duo has released the wandering, folksy “Some Weary Valentine” off its new album, Meet Your New Love (No Sleep). The video begins like a charming, low-budget making-the-album documentary and sounds like a combination of Iron And Wine’s tender breathiness and the Doves’ simple chord flow. Watching the video, the intense concentration of each musician on his respective instrument is palpable. They are more interested in delivering a tight composition than in impressing anybody with superfluous theatrics, and their simple piece of music tugs at heartstrings.
