Before teen angst comes pre-pubescent angst, and the San Francisco avant-punk veterans in Flipper have the anthem in “Be Good Child.” The way-influential band’s fourth album (Flipper’s debut, Album: Generic Flipper, came out back in 1982), Love (Subterranean) features Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic and was produced by grunge maestro Jack Endino.
