Bobby D’s 47th LP, Christmas includes such rockers as “Here Comes Santa Claus” and “Winter Wonderland.” Bad idea? We’ll see, but he’s donating all of the record’s U.S. royalties to Feeding America at least … Commemorating the 10th anniversary of frontman Mark Sandman’s death, Morphine’s At Your Service (Rhino/Ryko, October 6) is a two-disc collection of unreleased studio tracks, alternate takes and live performances. Sandman suffered a heart attack onstage in Italy in 1999, passing away en route to the hospital. The band’s surviving members are playing a tribute show September 27 in Cambridge, Mass. … LCD Soundsystem’s 45:33 Remixes (DFA), a collection of, well, remixes of 45:33, a 2007 one-off effort for Nike released on iTunes (and eventually on CD and vinyl), is out September 15. LCD mastermind James Murphy is recording the follow-up to 2007’s Sound Of Silver, due next year … Trip-hop duo Massive Attack unleashes its fifth LP (currently untitled) in February.
