Brooklyn-based, beloved of hipsters, friends to feedback fans everywhere: Vivian Girls should really be terrible. Luckily, they’re not, and this Fader/Southern Comfort-sponsored cover of the Wipers’ “Telepathic Love” is proof of that. Some artists might give pause before taking on one of the best-loved underground groups in punk history, but Vivian Girls are anything but squeamish. Filmed at the Wonder Bar at the Jersey Shore, “Telepathic Love” is a great track to bring the summer to a close.
