San Diego’s Black Heart Procession released sixth album, Six, on October 6. Coincidence? Possibly. Tobias Nathaniel and Pall Jenkins are also members of the recently reunited Three Mile Pilot, with Zach Smith of Pinback. Three Mile Pilot just announced the release of its first new recordings in a decade, and it will be the first time the Black Heart Procession and Three Mile Pilot have coexisted. Maybe a Pinback/Black Heart/Three Mile tour is finally in order. The Black Heart Procession’s latest video, directed by Nathaniel and Jenkins, is part Blair Witch, part Murnau. The band is currently on tour with Bellini and the Mumlers.
