Film At 11: Helen Money

In the wake of the untimely death of the King of Pop, cellist Helen Money covers the Minutemen’s “Political Song For Michael Jackson To Sing,” which appears on her just-released second album, In Tune (Table Of The Elements/Radium). Nelson Chan directed this dark, animated video, which goes nicely with the instrumental track’s spooky, dissonant vibe.

This is so edgy and deliberate that you can’t help jerking your head in time with it. And the artistic, creative video graphics reflect that edginess.
