Field Music is proof that you can’t keep a great band down. The Sunderland, England, quartet has survived break-ups, make-ups and record-label indifference, but next year it will be back with a brand new double album, Measure. If this, the eponymous track from the LP, is any indication, then we’ve got plenty to look forward to. It’s the usual delicate indie pop with a hint of something more, thanks to the band’s typically restrained and eerie vocals. Welcome back, boys; it’s about time.
