A Springsteen-esque number, “Back To Indiana” is packed to the brim with Americana: corn fields, smoky hills and a whole lot of flannel. Maybe the Indiana-based Elms are considering a job with their state’s tourist board, or maybe their time on the road just made them a little homesick. While the band can’t quite persuade us to move all the way to America’s heartland, it’s sure not for lack of trying. Their latest album, The Great American Midrange, dropped this fall on Trust Incorporated.
