Apparently “The Spectator,” from the Bravery‘s new Stir The Blood (Island), was featured in a November episode of CW series The Vampire Diaries. We wouldn’t know, of course, because we don’t watch that sort of thing. Even if those dark, brooding, undead hunks are pretty dreamy. Come to think of it, “dark and brooding” describes the Bravery pretty well, too, even if “undead” might be pushing it. “The Spectator” is a moody little synth piece that reminds us why we fell for the New York City quintet in the first place—and why we’re still a little afraid of them.
