Austin, Texas, singer/songwriter Charlie Faye is on a unique tour this year in support of her debut album, Wilson St. (Wine & Nut). “Travels With Charlie” has Faye spending each month in a different city to form a band, with whom she’ll write and record a new song. She started off her 10-month journey in Tucson, Ariz., where she joined up with Calexico’s Joey Burns and John Convertino and recorded “Broken Heart Maker,” which premieres exclusively on magnetmagazine.com today.
