Edinburgh-based pair Anneke Kampman and James Scott, otherwise known as Conquering Animal Sound, have signed to Gizeh Records. They released their debut split seven-inch with Debutant on Gerry Loves Records earlier this month. First single “Giant” can be heard all over the Internet, and now the band has released a live version of “Alice Shoes.” The catchy song, anchored by a tapping intro and electric-guitar twinkle, will get stuck in your head for hours. Note: This is not a bad thing. Fans of Animal Collective and Múm should be jumping on this one in particular. If you find yourself in the U.K. in May, you can catch Conquering Animal Sound on tour.
