The Athens, Ga.’s third album, In The Dark (ATO), features brokenhearted anthem “Kill Me Carolyne.” The video includes spinning planes that give you the feeling of being immersed in a video game. The Whigs’ music may be trying harder to be cool than to be original, but if you dig guitar riffage and squealing vocals, check it out.
