June 8 will see the release of Kaiser Cartel’s new album, Secret Transit, the follow-up to 2008’s March Forth. Kaiser Cartel hails from Brooklyn and is comprised of Courtney Kaiser and Benjamin Cartel. These alternative rockers have had their music featured on HBO’s Bored To Death and NBC’s Private Practice. “Ready To Go,” the first single from Secret Transit, is a friendly little toe-tapper that will have you nodding along to the beat. The vocals are nicely layered and provide some much-needed spice to the overall stripped-down sound “Ready To Go” offers.
