Aaron Hemphill of Liars directed this video for the band’s new single, “The Overachievers,” which is a “hyper realistic portrayal of the young and affected living in L.A,” according to fellow band member Angus Andrew. Liars’ fifth album, Sisterworld, is out now via Mute Records on CD, deluxe vinyl and a two-disc version that features each of the album’s original tracks re-worked by various artists such as Thom Yorke, Atlas Sound, Blonde Redhead, Fol Chen and Alan Vega. Liars have also joined up with other famous friends including members of St. Vincent and Os Mutantes for Beck’s Record Club, in which they cover INXS’s 1987 album Kick.
