Probably best known for 1987 hit “Don’t Dream It’s Over,” New Zealand’s Crowded House is riding the momentum of a 2007 revival to bring us Intriguer (Fantasy). The video for first single “Saturday Sun” is filmed in negative, which makes you feel like you’re watching Ghost Hunters in the guest room while an ’80s-themed party rages downstairs. Although Crowded House shares similar trancelike keyboard melodies with modern indie-rockers like MGMT, its guitar/bass/drums foundation secures its classic appeal.
