Unbunny (a.k.a. Jarid del Deo) released sixth album Moon Food earlier this month via Parasol Records. With his bittersweet love songs, pessimistic attitude and brilliant melodies that stem from his own pragmatic sadness, del Deo has been compared to many respectable artists such as Elliott Smith and Neil Young. Album track “Cellphone” is a perfect display of his apathetic-yet-captivating melody with a slow, melancholy tempo and del Deo’s soft vocals.
