MAGNET favorite Guided By Voices has announced that the 1993-1996 lineup will reunite for a U.S. tour this fall, playing classic songs from the albums Propeller, Bee Thousand, Alien Lanes and Under The Bushes Under The Stars. We suspect they will also drink beer … Pixies have added more dates to their 2010 U.S. “Doolittle Tour” after selling out shows in Austin, Tulsa, Kansas City and Nashville. The tour will have the band play its 1989 classic album in its entirety as well as related b-sides, and each show will be accompanied by a cinematic production featuring 11 short films … The Corin Tucker Band’s debut album, 1,000 Years, will be released by Kill Rock Stars on October 5.  The former Sleater-Kinney gal is joined on the record by Sara Lund and Seth Lorinczi … Also on October 5, the Avett Brothers are releasing Live, Volume 3, a live CD and DVD recorded at the Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, N.C. … The Trip, the debut solo album from Stereolab’s Laetitia Sadier, is out September 21 via Drag City … In celebration of the 10-year anniversary of Queens Of The Stone Age’s Rated R, Interscope/UMe is reissuing a two-CD deluxe edition of the album on August 3. Along with the original content is a second disc with six b-sides and a live recording of the band’s performance at the 2000 Reading Festival … More reissues are coming from Superchunk this August, with Merge releasing remastered versions of No Pocky For Kitty and On The Mouth. Download “Skip Steps 1 & 3” … Mute is releasing Goldfrapp’s new single, “Believer,” on September 7. The song is the latest single from Head First, and it will feature remixes by Vince Clarke, Subway, Joris Voorn and Davide Rossi … Kelley Stoltz is issuing his new album, To Dreamers, October 12 via Sub Pop.
