Fucked Up (pictured) will release a limited-edition 12-inch and digital download of Year Of The Ox on September 28 via Merge Records. The band is currently on a tour of Europe and North America, including several dates with Against Me! … Easy Wonderful is the first album from Guster in four years, and it’s out October 5 through Aware/Universal Republic. The LP will be celebrated with a U.S. tour in October. Download “Bad, Bad World” … Guided By Voices frontman Robert Pollard is having his artwork featured in an exhibit at The 45 Space in Manhattan, opening on August 27. The show includes more than 60 imaginary record sleeves, as well as dreamed-up magazines and coffee-table books … Bonnie “Prince” Billy and Cheyenne Marie Mize joined forces to record their renditions of 19th-century American parlor music, and the resulting album, Among The Gold, is available now for free download … On August 31, Tegan And Sara are releasing The Official Vinyl Collection Box Set through Warner Bros. Records. The set includes five of their albums, on vinyl for the first time, plus an exclusive bonus record. It’s available for pre-order now … The Phoenix Voter Registration Concert And Rally is scheduled for August 27 at the Marquee Theatre in Arizona, featuring performances by Calexico, Miniature Tigers, Sergio Mendoza U La Orkesta, Sand Rubies, Salvador Duran and many others. The event is being run by Artists For Action and is free for anyone who pledges to vote on November 2 … The American debut of Peaches Christ Superstar will take place December 11 at The Concert Hall at The New York Society For Ethical Culture in Manhattan. The production has Peaches performing all roles in the Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice musical Jesus Christ Superstar, accompanied by Chilly Gonzales … In celebration of the Hopscotch Music Festival, the Rosebuds have released two tracks for free download: a cover of the Bee Gees’ “Stayin’ Alive” and original “Secret Life Of The Rosebuds.” The fest takes place September 9-11 in Raleigh, N.C., and will feature the Rosebuds playing their final show of 2010, with Broken Social Scene and Panda Bear … Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan are doing their first-ever North American tour this fall in support of the August 24 release of her new album, Hawk (Vanguard) … Sailors With Wax Wings is a project formed by Pyramids leader R.
