Guns and hot chicks driving stick-shifts are always a recipe for a good video. It doesn’t hurt if the song is catchy, too. Prior to kicking off a world tour that includes dates in Japan and Australia, Eels have released the video for “Spectacular Girl,” off upcoming album Tomorrow Morning (E Works). Singer/songwriter Mark Oliver Everett, better known as E, mingles his folksy, monotone vocals with electronic beats, keyboard tinkling and soft instrumentals that serve as the soundtrack for the story chronicled in the video, which features a fetching woman pulling a Peter Parker in an elevator and taking revenge on a former lover, then driving away in a black Mustang.
