Canadian quintet the Acorn wrote the majority of its third full-length, No Ghost, while living in a remote cottage in northern Quebec, and the result is exactly what you’d expect to come from such surroundings: all rustic romance, with gorgeous finger-picked guitars and tight vocal harmonies. Check out “Restoration,” below, along with a bonus remix by Four Tet. The Acorn will be touring North America this fall in support of the new album, which was just released by Bella Union.
