Baltimore’s Future Islands have had an eventful year, with various tours and the release of single “In The Fall” and second album In Evening Air. And if you thought they were going to have a breather, you thought wrong. Future Islands are packing yet again for another month of touring in Europe as well as releasing their new Undressed EP due September 21 via Thrill Jockey. New single “Walking Through That Door,” from In Evening Air, reflects everything that Future Islands stand for: ’80s synth pop, powerful bass lines and Sam Herring’s dramatic-yet-graceful vocals, which leave fans with a mixture that never gets old.
