This alternate version of “Terrible Love” is one of the eight bonus tracks from the expanded edition of the National‘s High Violet (4AD), out November 2. It will also be available as a seven-inch single with fellow bonus track “You Were A Kindness.” The video for “Terrible Love” features footage from the recent Obama rally the band played in Madison, Wisc., and was directed by Matt Berninger’s brother Tom.
