The Afghan Whigs’ landmark Gentlemen is being reissued by Hi-Speed Soul Records on January 25, featuring the complete studio album on 180-gram vinyl along with a full-color lyric sheet … Speaking of Greg Dulli, Dynamite Steps is the first new album from the Twilight Singers in five years, and it’s out February 1 on Sup Pop … The 11th record from Drive-By Truckers, Go-Go Boots, is set for a February 15 release on ATO Records. A documentary on the band, The Secret To A Happy Ending, will be issued on DVD in conjunction with the album … Rocket Girl is releasing a two-CD compilation of the finest cuts from the label’s most recent roster, which includes Robin Guthrie, A Place To Bury Strangers, Serena Maneesh, Lemon’s Chair and others. 3…2…1 A Rocket Girl Compilation is out January 24 … Super Furry Animals frontman Gruff Rhys is releasing his third solo album, Hotel Shampoo (Turnstile), on February 14. The album was inspired by Rhys’ affinity for stealing miniature soaps and shampoos from various hotels throughout the world. Rhys also created an art installation made up of these collected items, which is now on display at Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff … Duran Duran has announced its 13th studio album, the Mark Ronson-produced All You Need Is Now. It’s being released exclusively on iTunes on December 21, with the physical release slated for February … For the first time since the ’70s, Paul Simon’s entire catalog of solo recordings (including live albums and DVDs) will be brought together under one roof by Sony Music, whose Legacy Recordings will oversee the reissue of all of his classic material next year … Liturgy has just signed with Thrill Jockey, which will release its sophomore LP in 2011.
