Röyksopp‘s Senior (Astralwerks) is, appropriately enough, the follow-up to 2009’s Junior. Video directors Noel Paul and Stefan Moore (ThatGo) shot the video below, titled Senior Living, on location Detroit, utilizing six songs from the Norwegian duo’s latest LP. Says the band of the video, “After seeing this particular work by Noel and Stefan, we were left in that bewildered state which we cherish so much; that confusing feeling one gets when exposed to something unesay yet pleasing. And that’s exactly what we found in their vision—their urban dystopia is dark and disturbing, but in between we catch a glimpse of beauty.” See for yourself below. Röyksopp will be touring North America in March.
