In September, syndicated columnist Dan Savage launched the It Gets Better Project to raise awareness about suicides amongst LGBT teenagers. The New Pornographers recorded an acoustic version of “Adventures In Solitude,” from 2007’s Challengers, specifically for the cause, featuring band members Carl Newman, Neko Case and Kathryn Calder.
