Helvetia returns April 12 with On The Lam (The Static Cult). The album is the Pacific Northwest outfit’s fifth and the follow-up to 2009’s Helvetia’s Junk Shop. Band members Jason Albertini and Canaan Dove Amber are both veterans of ’90s MAGNET fave Duster, and each has played with other outfits, including Xiu Xiu, Papercuts and Love As Laughter, but Helvetia is the main concern for both musicians after a couple years apart. Albertini and Amber recorded 40 songs during the sessions for On The Lam, narrowing it down to the dozen on the album. We are proud to premiere On The Lam‘s title track today on magnetmagazine.com.
