March is turning into a huge month for lo-fi legend (and Kurt Cobain favorite) Jad Fair. Already out is His Name Itself Is Music (Fire), a 15-track solo album that’s the perfect appetizer for the main course due later this month: Beautiful Songs: The Best Of Jad Fair (also on Fire). Beautiful Songs is a three-CD, 109-song, career-spanning collection that compiles solo tracks as well as his work with brother David in Half Japanese.
