MAGNET fave Port O’Brien broke up last year, but that outfit’s frontman Van Pierszalowski is back as Waters. The band’s debut, Out In The Light, is out via the TBD label on September 20. After Port O’Brien’s demise, Pierszalowski traveled around Norway, Alaska, California and New York, before heading to Dallas to record Out In The Light with John Congleton (St. Vincent, Explosions In The Sky, Walkmen).
