Jolie Holland’s husky voice and bluesy guitar combine to create spellbinding tunes, and “All Those Girls” is no exception. Its video depicts a melancholy atmosphere with an empty apartment, a carousel of guitars and days passing by in still-motion. Through awkward-yet-intriguing camera shots, this clip tells the story of a female coming to grips with the fact that there is no difference between her and all the other “sweet girls” who are used and left to cry.
