Chicago rapper Serengeti is a recent signing to indie rap label Anticon and has had tracks produced by Yoni Wolf (Why?) and Advance Base (formerly Casiotone For The Painfully Alone). Though these names will be the last thing on your mind when listening to Family & Friends opener “Tracks.” Unlike, say, Odd Future, Serengeti raps with a little thing called subtlety, and it makes the effect of his music no less devastating.
