MAGNET favorites Crooked Fingers, the eclectic project of former Archers Of Loaf frontman Eric Bachmann, are releasing sixth album Breaks In The Armor on October 11. After working with the Merge and Warm labels and then self-releasing his last album, Bachmann has rejoined Merge for the new 11-track LP. Crooked Fingers worked with Matt Yelton, the Pixies’ sound engineer, to record Breaks In The Armor in Athens, Ga., where Bachmann currently lives.
