If you have ever listened to Gobble Gobble then you understand the term “hyper-pop.” But as life moves on and evolves, so does music. Cecil Frena somehow manages to take a controlled notch down with new band, Born Gold, which is still a calamity of synths and electronica. Those same heavily effected vocals have pushed their way to the front of the mix, now above daring club-anthem beats.
