On January 24, MAGNET fave Nada Surf will release The Stars Are Indifferent To Astronomy (Barsuk), the band’s seventh album and first LP of original material since 2007’s Lucky. Aside from the core lineup of Matthew Caws, Daniel Lorca and Ira Elliot, the new LP features guitarist Doug Gillard (Guided By Voices, Death Of Samantha, Cobra Verde), who has been playing with the trio live over the last couple of years.
