Is there anything Cass McCombs didn’t do in 2011? The man released two acclaimed LPs, Wit’s End and Humor Risk (both Domino), and gigged behind both albums. Honestly, he’s putting the rest of us to shame. Somehow between cutting new LPs and touring he found the time to shoot a video for “The Same Thing,” the lead single from Humor Risk. Like the perfect home movie from the ’70s, the clip captures various inanimate objects and different home scenes that complement the song wonderfully.
