Mr. Impossible is the new full-length from Black Dice, and it will be released by Ribbon Music on April 10. A limited-edition version of the album, hand-numbered and individually screen-printed, is available for pre-order now … The third album from White Rabbits, Milk Famous, will be released by TBD Records on March 6, which is when the band will also kick off its North American tour in MAGNET’s hometown of Philadelphia … Great Lake Swimmers return with their fifth studio album, New Wild Everywhere, on April 3 via Nettwerk. The band plans to hit up Canada and parts of Europe this spring in support … Sub Pop Records is planning to release a limited-edition, four-disc boxed set of The Aberrant Years by Australian rockers feedtime on March 13 … Mike Patton (Faith No More, Tomahawk, Mr. Bungle) will be working with writer/director Derek Cianfrance to score his upcoming film, The Place Beyond The Pines (starring Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper and Eva Mendes). A new Tomahawk album is also in the works … On March 20, Anti- and Trekky Records will issue the new album from Lost In The Trees, A Church That Fits Our Needs. This heartbreaking work was composed in the aftermath of the suicide of frontman Ari Picker’s mother … Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Concord Music Group has gathered up Tony Bennett’s greatest love songs for compilation Isn’t It Romantic?. Set for a February 7 release, the record will contain 15 digitally remastered tracks mostly taken from Bennett’s collaborative sessions with pianist Bill Evans … Hot on the heels of the November re-release of his debut album, Luke Roberts will issue his sophomore effort, The Iron Gates At Throop And Newport (Thrill Jockey), on March 20 … Amadou & Mariam’s new album Folila –which features guest appearances from Santigold, TV On The Radio, Nick Zinner and more—is due out March 27 via Because Music/Nonesuch Records … John Dee Graham, Freedy Johnston and Susan Cowsill are the Hobart Brothers & Lil’ Sis Hobart, and they plan to release debut album, At Least We Have Each Other (Freedom), on February 28.
