The fifth album from the Cribs, In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull, is set for a May 8 release on Witchita Recordings. The band plans to support the record with a U.S. tour this spring … The Singer is a 40-track collection of songs chosen by Art Garfunkel, out on April 10 via Columbia/Legacy. It includes classic in-studio and live performances spanning his Simon & Garfunkel years to his solo work, as well as his own track-by-track annotations … On April 24, Torche’s third album, Harmonicraft, will be released by Volcom Entertainment … Bobby Conn and his band the Burglars will bring us the whimsically titled Macaroni, his Fire Records debut, on April 3. A world tour is planned in support … Real Gone Music has reissues planned for March from the likes of BJ Thomas, David Axelrod, Rick Springfield, Frankie Avalon, Wishbone Ash and the Tubes. Also included is Clint Eastwood’s Cowboy Favorites, which will be available on vinyl for the first time … Scum, the 1987 debut album from Napalm Death, will be re-released on CD and vinyl by Earache on March 5 … Taken By Trees, the project of former Concretes frontwoman Victoria Bergsman, has signed to Secretly Canadian, which will issue her new album later this year … Drag City will release Sandy Bull’s live recording from the ‘70s, Sandy Bull & The Rhythm Ace, Live 1976, on March 27.
