If you ever doubted that solid indie pop is still around, listen to Sean Bones. His new single, “Here Now,” brings together the right amount of brightly played chords over subtle melodic piano. The song charms with its simplicity, and it strolls along without an air of pretention. Its real power lies in the chorus, which features voices rising together in harmony, made only more awesome by handclaps in the background. “Here Now” is more than a guy and his guitar, but it’s a refreshing reminder that sometimes less is more.
