Who said coincidence is nothing? Sean Thomas Gerard would beg to differ. It all started when he relocated to Wilmington, N.C., in 2007 and gave his self-recorded demo to drummer (and co-founder of Winoca Records) Kevin Rhodes. Gerard and Rhodes became partners and found local musicians to create what is now Onward, Soldiers. The quartet released its first record, Ghost In This Town, in 2009 and has followed that up with Monsters. Download album track “Cinder Blocks” below.
