Graham: I always over think things when we’re writing/recording, so I tend to put on films in the background or project them in the studio so there’s something else to focus on. Here are some of the things I’ve had on in the past:
Andrei Tarkovsky: The Mirror, Stalker, Solaris
Fritz Lang: Metropolis, M
John Carpenter: Assault On Precinct 13, Escape From New York, They Live
Gary Oldman: Nil By Mouth
Jean Luc Godard: Breathless, Vivre Sa Vie, Alphaville, Week End
Elem Klimov: Come And See
Shane Meadows: This Is England, Dead Man’s Shoes
Krzysztof Kieślowski: A Short Film About Killing
Liliana Cavani: The Night Porter
David Lynch: Twin Peaks, Eraserhead, Short Films, Lost Highway
