While most carpets aren’t typically studded with precious gems, Diamond Rugs’ new single, “Country Mile,” is a diamond in the velvety rough. Featuring a jazzy, slightly country beat pockmarked with twanging, fuzz-filled guitars, “Country Mile” is instantly noticeable. Not content with plain rock, Diamond Rings even fade slightly into electronic toward the end, creating what can best be described as a memorable romp through conventional rock.
