“The Living Things,” a star track from the Spinto Band’s Shy Pursuit (Spintonic), has a new video that is unequivocally awesome. Animator Phil Davis made 2,000 drawings over the course of 20 months to create the first half of the project, concluding it with a visually arresting stop-motion sequence. Davis’s animation is simultaneously unsettling and adorable, full of quirks and strange little creatures dancing to the Spinto Band’s charming indie pop. It’s more than worth the three and a half minutes of your day it’ll take up. Watch it below.
