The Constellations‘ video for “Side By Side,” off Do It For Free (429), is beautiful because of its simplicity. Filmed entirely in black and white, it tells the story of a not-so-happy couple. Many of the shots show people looking directly into the camera, giving the video a confrontational feel. At times there’s a touch of red from time to time, offsetting the b&w in a stylishly classy way. Watch it below.
