“Gun Has No Trigger,” off Swing Lo Magellan (Domino), is unmistakeably the work of Dirty Projectors. The single incorporates the airy-female background vocals and rhythmic drums that were definitive of the sound on Bitte Orca, the band’s 2009 album, not to mention Dove Longstreth’s distinct croon. “Gun Has No Trigger” has a relatively simple song structure, something not so markedly Dirty Projectors, with a relatively simple video to match.
