“Walking Robin” is the latest video offering from Blues Control. The last clip we posted from the band, “Love’s A Rondo” (off the Drag City-released Valley Tangents), followed a mime through an urban jungle. This one takes a turn in the opposite direction to an idyllic forest setting. Starting out smooth and gentle, the first half of the video is full of soaring birds, pretty woodland things, etc. Do we detect harpsichord? Regardless, what may or may not be harpsichord soon gives way to an electric guitar, and to signify the change, a forest fire breaks out. Blues Control always uses its videos to capture the vibe of its sound; no exception here. Watch it below.
