Neil Young & Crazy Horse will follow up summer album Americana sooner than expected with Psychedelic Pill, to be released as a double-CD and triple-LP on October 30 via Warner Bros. A supporting North American tour is in the works for the fall … Celebration Day is a film documenting Led Zeppelin’s 2007 concert—the band’s first in 27 years—at London’s O2 Arena. It will be presented in worldwide theatrical screenings on October 17, followed by the release of multiple video and audio formats on November 19 via Swan Song/Atlantic … A career-spanning retrospective of Ben Harper’s music is slated for an October 16 release by Virgin/EMI. By My Side features 12 tracks hand-picked by the artist himself as well as a new song. Harper is kicking off his very first solo-acoustic tour later this month … For the first time in 31 years, Graham Parker has reunited with the Rumour to record a new album. Three Chords Good is out on November 20, and the band will also appear in Judd Apatow’s upcoming film This Is 40 in December … EMI is reissuing Massive Attack’s 1991 album Blue Lines with remixed and remastered tracks on November 20 … Jethro Tull’s 1972 LP Thick As A Brick is being celebrated with a 40th anniversary edition, due out November 5 via EMI … On November 13, Mudhoney’s 1988 performance at the Berlin Independent Days festival will be available on DVD via !K7 … Beatles Stories is a documentary film featuring stories from fans about their encounters with the Fab Four. Contributors include the likes of Art Garfunkel, Ben Kingsley, George Martin, Graham Nash, Smokey Robinson, Brian Wilson and many more. The October 2 theatrical premiere and DVD release (via Cinema Libre) coincides with the 50th anniversary of the release of the Beatles’ first single, “Love Me Do” … The 20th birthday of Megadeth’s Countdown To Extinction will be commemorated November 6 with a remastered two-disc version (on Capitol/EMI), featuring never-before-released 1992 concert footage. The band will also perform the album in its entirety on tour in November and December … Eagle Rock will issue the DVD Live At Montreux, 1981, on November 6. It features footage of the Stray Cats performing 15 songs, some of which have never appeared on official releases.
